The 2026 Community-Wide Lunar New Year Celebration with Detroit Pistons Set to Dazzle and Unite the Region

[Detroit, Michigan] –The highly anticipated 2026 Community-Wide Lunar New Year Celebration with the Detroit Pistons will take place on Feb. 25, 2026, at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, marking the 10th year of this vibrant and influential event.

The celebration is the largest and the most recognized Lunar New Year event in the region, bringing together community leaders, business professionals, elected officials, and families to honor cultural diversity, community excellence, and shared traditions.

This year’s festivities include:

  • 6:30 PM: High Five Tunnels and Anthem Buddies.
  • 7:00 PM: The Detroit Pistons take on the Oklahoma Thunder, offering fans an exhilarating Center Court Half-time Performance — A spectacular showcase of Chinese and Asian cultural traditions through music, dance, and art, capturing the essence of the Lunar New Year. The conclusion to the evening brings an opportunity to go on Pistons Court after the game to shoot a free throw
